Born in 1981, coming from a musical family, I launched my career as a trombonist playing euphonium, trombone or drums while still in my teens.
So I performed since 1989 in various big bands, orchestras and funk & soul bands in and around Schwäbisch Hall (Germany).
This led to my professional debut at the Freilichtspiele Schwäbisch Hall. I went on to study classical trombone at the music academy Dinkelsbuehl/Bavaria; continuing studying jazz trombone at the University of Arts Berlin/Jazz Institut of Berlin guided by Professor Jiggs Whigham, Professor Ludwig Nuss, Professor Gerard Presencer, Professor Peter Weniger and Professor Olaf Ott from Berlin Philharmonics,
followed by lessons with Luis Bonilla in New York City.
Since then I toured throughout the world with several bands, orchestras and big bands and i became one of Berlins most prominent trombonists for commercial recordings, television, soundtracks and live theater.
Although my main passion is the trombone I enjoy playing the drums.
I had the chance to contribute on live concerts for many popular artists, including:
Yusuf / Cat Stevens
Moka Efti Orchestra
Noel Gallagher`s High Flying Birds
Flo Mega & the Ruffcats
… and many more.
